SSTM Participated in the 2020 “Belt and Road” International Science Communication Seminar
On November 25, Liu Haifeng, Deputy Curator of Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, participated in the 2020 “Belt and Road” International Science Communication Seminar on behalf of SSTM. The seminar was held online and offline, allowing participants from multiple countries and places to attend. More than 30 science communication experts and academic representatives from 9 countries including Singapore, Thailand, Russia, etc. and several provinces and cities (autonomous regions) including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, etc. attended the seminar to discuss on the topic “Science Communication in the Post-pandemic Era”.
Liu Haifeng, Deputy Curator of Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, delivered a speech in the finale, sharing SSTM’s practice and experience during the pandemic prevention and control, as well as the successful cases of “Belt and Road” science communication in recent years. He made prospects and proposals for the international cooperation of the “Belt and Road” science communication venues in the future, and science communication and exchanges under the new situation, and called for efforts to build a more extensive science communication community, which were affirmed by the participants of the seminar.
