During the first “Shanghai Nightlife Festival”, Shanghai Science & Technology Museum and Shanghai Natural History Museum (the branch of Shanghai Science & Technology Museum) organized “Wonderous Nights at the Museum”. Since June 6, the opening hours had been extended to 9 p.m. and the entrance closed at 8 p.m. Tickets for the night session, with 34% price off, would be  sold starting from 5 p.m. “Wonderous Nights at the Museum”, creating a nightlife atmosphere, further diversified the public cultural consumption, encouraged more people to learn nature, science, and technology, and helped to broaden the knowledge of science and culture.
On June 6, Shanghai Science & Technology Museum arranged a feast of nature and science all day long. At 10 a.m., Shanghai Science & Technology held a saloon themed on World Oceans Day, aiming at “promote sustainable innovations and protect the cradle of life”. On that day, Shanghai Science Popularization Forum held two live sessions, “Balanced Diet and Scientific Use of Eye in Post-epidemic Era” and “Atlas of Odd Marine Figures: Revelation of Eccentric Ancient Marine Organisms”. On June 12 and 13, the two museums organized two special night sessions, themed on “Tribute to the Life Protectors”, for the medical workers who had played significant roles in the pandemic. The visitors could not only watch the ad hoc exhibitions but experience diverse educational activities.
