The 7th Shanghai International Nature Conservation Festival kicked off at SSTM.

On the morning of October 23, the "Launching Ceremony of the 7th Shanghai International Nature Conservation Festival" was grandly held at SSTM, calling on the people in all walks of life to keep to the principle of environmental protection in their life, travel, work, and consumption, to protect the beauty of diversity and jointly build an ecological city starting with small things around us, and to contribute to the realization of carbon peaking and neutrality. 

On the theme of "Care for the Beauty of Diversity and Jointly Build an Ecological City", the 7th Shanghai International Nature Conservation Festival integrated quality resources of science popularization and planned 9 themed activities suitable for extensive public participation, including "Celebrity Forum", "Environmental Protection Popularization", "An Event for the Young People", "Ecological Practice", "A Themed Photography Exhibition", "Mobile Phone Pictures Contest", "Man-and-Nature Science Popularization for Citizens", "Screening of Themed Movies", and "A Themed Activity of Scientific Venues". During the festival, when citizens went to the two airports in the city or took a plane with China Eastern Airlines or China Southern Airlines, they would see a cute mascot named "Shen Shen" calling for green and civilized travel.
