This year’s “Teenage Science Interpreter” project of the Shanghai Natural History Museum was themed “My Survey of Natural Ecology”, which involved five topics, i.e. plants, soil animals, calling insects, benthos and birds. 620 students of primary and middle schools in 16 districts of Shanghai signed up for the event. After expert review, 100 students’ projects were selected.

In 2019, the “Teenage Science Interpreter” project of the Shanghai Natural History Museum was included in the “Eagle Cup” - the “Teenage Red Scarf Science and Technology Innovation Talents” Challenge organized by the Youth League Shanghai Committee and Shanghai Municipal Education Commission. The project would select outstanding teenage science interpreters to participate in the municipal finals of “Red Scarf Science and Technology Innovation Talents” and the “Little Academician” of the 17th Shanghai Youth Academy of Science.
