Shanghai Science and Technology Museum and Xinmin Evening News Jointly Roll out the "Travel around Museums Online to Appreciate the Power of Science"

    To enrich the learning activities and life of students at home and relieve their anxiety, and assist in the fight against COVID-19 with high-quality science popularization activities, Shanghai Science and Technology Museum and Xinmin Evening News joined forces to organize a series of activities under the title of "Science Popularization at Home and Mobile Module Hospitals". By sorting out the wonderful online learning resources of Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, Shanghai Natural History Museum and Shanghai Astronomy Museum, as well as science resources from the society, they made the most popular and cutting-edge scientific knowledge available online and accessible to households and temporary quarantine and treatment stations. 

    The focuses of this activity are the "Cloud Streaming" and "Cloud Classroom". In the "Cloud Streaming", outstanding young staff members of Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, Shanghai Natural History Museum and Shanghai Astronomy Museum and other people expert at science popularization impart scientific knowledge online, giving the youth and their parents better time in weekends. In the "Cloud Classroom", five modules are provided on the theme of natural science and astronomy in the form of video, audio and games: Cloud Exhibition Visiting, Cloud Classroom, Science Video, Science Games and Pandemic Response. The youth could "visit" museums at home, to learn to conduct experiments, listen to lectures, read picture books and learn about the 3D printing and design.
