Shanghai Science and Technology Museum on Ground Main Classroom Connecting "Tiangong Classroom"

On December 9, 2021, astronauts Zhai Zhigang, Wang Yaping, and Ye Guangfu delivered the first "Tiangong Classroom" to the global audience at the Chinese space station. The space lecture is conducted in an interactive manner, and the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, as one of the participators, became the first science and technology venue to be connected to the "Tiangong Classroom" with special activities. 

The science teachers of Shanghai Science and Technology Museum staged a science experiment show - the three-thousandths challenge. The teachers carried out contextual teaching by wearing spacesuits to simulate rocket launch experiments, tail wing experiments, and grid wing experiments, so as to lead the audience to explore step by step how the Long March 2F escorted the astronauts' space mission. The Shanghai Science and Technology Museum has guaranteed the activities in the context of COVID-19 prevention and control and performed online activities at the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum and Shanghai Astronomy Museum.
