The SSTM Held the Activity to Watch the Live Stream of the Shenzhou-12 Spacecraft Launch

      At 9:22 on June 17, 2021, Shenzhou-12 manned spacecraft, atop a Long March-2F carrier rocket, was launched at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center and successfully sent three astronauts, namely Nie Haisheng, Liu Boming and Tang Hongbo into the space. This was the 19th mission since the establishment and implementation of China’s manned space project, and also the first manned mission in the space station stage. In order to give full play to the science popularization and education function of the SSTM, increase the public’s scientific and cultural knowledge, and enhance national pride, the Exhibition and Education Center of the SSTM specially planned and implemented the activity to watch the live stream of the Shenzhou-12 spacecraft launch.

      In addition to the livestreaming event, on April 29 this year, the Exhibition and Education Center of the SSTM specially planned and implemented the “Talents Show You the Amazing World” event in campuses. Mr. Tao Jianzhong, a researcher from Shanghai Institute of Aerospace System Engineering, was invited to watch the live stream of the launch of the “Tianhe” core module together with 100 students and make simultaneous explanations for them.
