The SSTM wins a number of outstanding achievements in the Science Education Projects Exhibition and Evaluation of Popular Science Venues

On October 20, 2020, the closing ceremony and award ceremony of the 5th Science Education Projects Exhibition and Evaluation of Popular Science Venues Co-hosted by the Children & Youth Science Center of CAST, the Chinese Association of Natural Science Museums and the China Association of Children’s Science Instructors was held at the Chongqing Science & Technology Museum.

The “Buzzing and Chirping of Worms”citizen science project of the Shanghai Natural History Museum (a branch of Shanghai Science & Technology Museum) was the only one to win the highest award–the special award; the “Big Differences of Gears” project of the SSTM won the first prize; the “Deep Exploration of Exhibits–New Energy Power Generation” project won the second prize; “The Power of Evolution–PBL-based Paleontology Subject Field Research and Practice” of the Shanghai Natural History Museum (a branch of Shanghai Science & Technology Museum) won the third prize; the natural exploration mobile classroom team was rated as an excellent science & technology tutoring team; and the Shanghai Foreign Language School, a museum-school partner school recommended by the SSTM, was rated as a model school for the “Science and Technology Museum Activities into the Campus” activity.
