Shanghai Science and Technology Museum Achieves Excellent Results in the 6th National Science Interpreter Competition
From November 9 to 12, the final of the 6th National Science Interpreter Competition was held in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province. The Shanghai Science and Technology Museum attached great importance to and actively prepared for this competition, coordinating support from all aspects to ensure the contestants’ participation. After fierce competition, the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum eventually achieved excellent results. Dong Yi and Wang Qianqian of the Exhibition & Education Dept. won the second prize in the tutorial competition of exhibits; the scientific performance team of the Exhibition Educational Service Dept. (including Cai Minqi, Huang Lingli and Li Xuemei) won the first prize of the scientific experiment competition with the highest score by virtue of their work Told by the Wind; the scientific performance team of the Exhibition & Education Dept. (including Xu Yan, Liu Yiwen, Han Yulei, Gong Hao, Yu Dian and Hong Yehan) won the first prize of the competition of other science shows with the highest score by virtue of their work One World. Shen Weijie of the Exhibition & Education Dept. served as a professional judge for this competition at the invitation due to his outstanding performance in previous competitions. The competition was hosted by the China Association for Science and Technology, and the sub-regional events were organized by the Shanxi Association for Science and Technology. A total of 108 science and technology museums in 31 sub-regions participated in the competition, with over 400 contestants and over 800 people involved.
