It strove to lead audience to unlock cutting-edge technology, stimulate their scientific interest, broaden their scientific horizons, and help them understand the scientific spirit.

On the afternoon of January 20, Shanghai Science & Technology Museum worked with the National Key Laboratory for Modification of Chemical Fibers and Polymer Materials of Donghua University and the Advanced Materials Laboratory of Fudan University to open a market. Scientific "big shots" turned into "stall owners" to popularize science on mesoporous materials and fiber materials for the audiences. Audiences could also interact closely with pepper robots and "Internet celebrity" robot dogs, experience MR popular science games, learn about magical environmentally friendly recycled materials, experience the STEM course "Universal Keyboard", and participate in the New Year gift lottery. At the same time, the 203rd Shanghai Science Communication Forum specially invited Academician Zhu Meifang, Dean of the College of Materials Science and Engineering of Donghua University, to give the new year’s first lecture titled Extraterrestrial Fibers: A Thread's Journey to the Stars.

On the morning of January 27, Shanghai Science & Technology Museum specially invited Xia Zhendong, the "Magic Teacher" with millions of fans, to bring his "Magic Class" to the Science LIVE Show stage. At the same time, Shanghai Science & Technology Museum's original science LIVE show Float or Not also brought unique interactive experiments such as balloon levitation, superconducting magnetic levitation and hovercraft levitation to the audience. In the afternoon, the 204th Shanghai Science Communication Forum invited Yu Jintai, deputy director and chief physician of the Department of Neurology of Huashan Hospital, and Cheng Wei, a researcher at the Institute of Science and Technology for Brain-inspired Intelligence, Fudan University, jointly told the audience of Using Mathematics to Reveal the "Mystery of the Brain" from two dimensions of "biological brain" and "digital brain" respectively.

On January 19 and February 3, Shanghai Science & Technology Museum's "Meet the Scientists" was held at "Maritime Science City" - the "Yuanwang No. 1" aerospace survey ship and the BASF Pudong Innovation Park respectively.
