On October 26, the 16th Shanghai Future Engineers Competition was held at the Xuhui High School. The Shanghai Future Engineers Competition, jointly sponsored by the Shanghai Science Popularization Education Development Foundation and the Shanghai Science, Technology and Art Education Center, aims to cultivate promising engineering & technology innovation talents with the spirit of science. Over the past 16 years, the Shanghai Future Engineers Competition has expanded from the initial four projects to the present 11 projects in eight engineer series. This year, the competition boasts a focus on reality, an approach to life, an eye on the future, and constant exploration for further progress. The electronic engineer project has witnessed the addition of the "Challenge of Recognizing Garbage," a new sub-project designed to help students learn artificial intelligence technology, perceive and identify different types of "garbage" through voice or visual recognition, and correctly classify garbage.
