Shanghai''s first attempt to recruit adopter for retired quarantine dog

On April 12, 2018, a special guest, the five-star quarantine dog "Siyan (four eyes)", showed up on the Special Exhibition on the Year of the Dog at Shanghai Science and Technology Museum. SSTM and Shanghai Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau jointly held a grand retirement ceremony for Siyan, and announced the conditions for its adoption. This has been the first time that Shanghai recruited adopters for retired quarantine dogs from the public. "Siyan" was born in March 2005, and was a senior quarantine dog. It is an American Cocker dog and had served at various ports of Shanghai for 11 years before retiring. As an experienced veteran, it has succeeded in intercepting numerous illegal items and made outstanding achievements.
