Medicine and Humanity at Shanghai Science Communication Forum

On December 5, 2020, the 155th session of Shanghai Science Communication Forum entitled “Breathe for Life” invited Zhu Lei, Chief Physician of Department of Respiratory Medicine of Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University, to introduce the prevention and treatment of common respiratory diseases, and Zhou Quan, Chief Director of the medical documentary Life Matters, to share his thoughts in the process of filming from different perspectives of doctors and media and answer the audiences’ questions.
Based on many years of clinical experience, Zhu Lei introduced the prevention and treatment of common respiratory diseases, including pneumonia, chronic bronchitis and asthma, and gave suggestions on how to get prepared psychologically and stay clam amidst the dual impacts of seasonal flu during the fall and winter and the Covid-19 pandemic. As the chief director of the medical documentary Life Matters, Zhou Quan shared his thoughts about medicine and humanity in the filming process from the perspective of a media worker.
