The First Class Related to Scientific Innovation in the New Semester: The Longing for Flying will Inspire us to Explore the Starry Sky Better
With the promulgation of "Guideline to Ease the Burdens of Excessive Homework and Off-campus Tutoring for Students Undergoing Compulsory Education", how children should spend their spare time better had become the focus of social attention. Actually, there was no need to worry about it. Many science and technology venues in Shanghai had progressively become the top priority for the majority of young people. On the afternoon of September 16, a group of "top notches" from the field of scientific innovation entered Shanghai Astronomy Museum. As the visiting guests of the Program called "First Class Related to Scientific Innovation in the New Semester: The Longing for Flying will Inspire us to Explore the Starry Sky Better" of the Bund Education Forum, they explained to the children in detail the scientific stories related to the popular exhibits and the most precious treasure of the museum, with revealing the blueprint for the development of China's aerospace industry. In the harmonious interaction, the masters and youth look up at the starry sky together, with expressing their opinions freely around the ideal of science.
ZHA Xuelei, the Former Deputy Chief Designer of the Cargo Spacecraft System and the Deputy Chief Designer of the Chang'e-5 Probe System, told the youth about the great tasks accomplished by the Chinese astronauts who are about to "go home" in the space journey and the powerful functions contained in the Tianhe core module. SHI Wei, the Minister of Network Science Department of Shanghai Astronomy Museum Exhibition and Education Center and Deputy Secretary-General of Shanghai Astronomical Society, led young students to appreciating the subtleties of Shanghai Astronomy Museum as the astronomical tour guide. Meanwhile, CHU Junhao, the Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, President of Shanghai Youth Science Research Institute and Member of Shanghai Science Innovation Education Steering Committee, also shared his own personal experience, namely, how a naughty boy embarked on the road of scientific research driven by curiosity.
