Curator Wang Xiaoming participates in the Youth AI Innovation and Development Forum—AI Starts to be Taught from Childhood at invitation
On the morning of July 10, one of the Industry Forums during the 2020 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) Summit Online, Youth AI Innovation and Development Forum—AI Starts to be Taught from Childhood was held. Prof. Wang Xiaoming, curator of the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum (SSTM), attended the forum as a guest representative of AI+ off-campus education. This roundtable forum invited experts from education development, school practice, off-campus education, technological innovation, and life applications to talk about artificial intelligence and youth growth. Curator Wang Xiaoming said that SSTM is building an “online Science & Technology Museum” to break through the limits of time and space and stay opened around the clock. In the era of artificial intelligence, thinking changes are vital. To combine science and technology with humanistic knowledge is an idea for the science museum to adapt to the development of artificial intelligence. At present, SSTM begins to develop “Science Games” to adapt to the new education methods in the era of big data, and through artificial intelligence technology, to better lead the future and embrace the new era.
