"Habitat Classroom 2024" Launched Jointly by Shanghai Natural History Museum and Changning District Bureau of Ecology and Environment

On June 18, 2024, the first online course of the "Habitat Classroom 2024," a joint initiative between Shanghai Natural History Museum and Changning District Bureau of Ecology and Environment, was released on the museum's video platform. The course introduced the most common bird in our vicinity-the Night Heron.

Since 2023, Shanghai Natural History Museum and Changning District Bureau of Ecology and Environment have collaboratively developed the "Habitat Classroom" series lectures and the "Seasonal Orders" column, establishing a regional biodiversity science popularization brand project. This year, based on video materials of biodiversity within the jurisdiction of Changning District, both parties have expanded the "Habitat+" brand to create an online "Habitat Classroom," showcasing the achievements of Shanghai's ecological civilization construction in recent years through video courseware. Shanghai Natural History Museum has also officially become the "Beautiful Changning Action Partner".
