On April 7, 2025, the HITECH SPACE STATION science experiment showcase was successfully held at the Cherry Blossom Town in Liudun Village, Nanqiao Town, Fengxian District. The event aimed to promote the deep integration of science education with natural settings and explore new models for science education.

Ni Minjing, member of the National Committee of the Chinese Peoples Political Consultative Conference and director of the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, along with Silver-Haired Knowledge Streamers Grandma Wu (Wu Yuren, a retired physics professor from Tongji University) and Tang Shouping, delivered an exciting experimental showcase. Through a series of lively, interactive experiments, they presented complex scientific knowledge in an intuitive manner, instantly igniting the audiences passion for science and sparking a strong interest in scientific exploration.

Following the experiment showcase, Mr. Ni delivered a keynote speech titled Why Experiments Matter in Science Class. He said that scientific experiments are far from validation of knowledge; they are a crucial means to stimulate students curiosity and guide them to explore by themselves. He encouraged students to boldly question and think deeply during experiments, cultivating their ability to solve real-world problems and truly bringing science classes to life. Tang Shouping shared his profound insights on science education, while Wu Yuren, drawing from her extensive teaching experience, explained in simple terms how to maximize the value of scientific experiments.

The Dialogue with the Director session, moderated by Mr. Ni, featured discussions among Wu Yuren, Tang Shouping, and Wang Ying, principal of the Shanghai Fengxian Yuxiu United School, on topics such as the innovative development and practical pathways of science education.
