From April 22 to 23, 2023, two brand events of Shanghai Natural History Museum, namely, "Fun in Nature" and "Mountain and Sea Museum World", were successfully launched in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, the first national forest park in China and Zhangjiajie Cili County, respectively, in the form of four live-streaming events. Participants did not only see the unique natural landscape of Zhangjiajie through the screen, but also felt the concept of harmonious coexistence between human and nature from the experts' multi-dimensional science interpretation.

April 22 is the 54th Earth Day. On the same day, two "Fun in Nature" live-streaming events entered Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, interpreting the unique geomorphology and animal resources of Zhangjiajie from the perspective of biodiversity, and feeling the harmonious coexistence between human and nature with the visitors. In the live-streaming event called Hello! My Neighbor 200 Million Years Ago in the morning, visitors were able to get a closer look at creatures such as giant salamanders and macaques through the camera, and also learned about the paleontological fossil hidden in the stone steps through the guest presentations. In the live-streaming event called Here We Go! "Landslide Nature" in the afternoon, with the guests' cameras ascending to Huangshizhai, visitors were able to observe the unique landscape of Zhangjiajie from the top of a mountain of more than 1,000m and follow the birdsong on the quiet path to find the birds.

April 23 is the World Book Day. In order to further improve the creative transformation and innovative development of traditional culture and to encourage more readers to re-read the classic ancient books, the Shanghai Natural History Museum brought the "Mountain and Sea Museum World" brand event to Zhangjiajie on the same day, and held a special reading event of "Dialogue between Mountain and Sea Museum and Qu Yuan's The Nine Songs". In the afternoon of the same day, experts interpreted 6 habitat art restoration paintings on Encounter with Mountains and Seas for the visitors in a mountainous environment, leading them to experience the beauty of biodiversity in The Classic of Mountains and Seas. In the evening, live-streaming guests re-read The Nine Songs - The Mountain Spirit (Shan Gui) with the visitors, allowing them to immerse themselves in several natural scenes of mountains, forests, sinkholes and caves, and experience the fantastical scenes restored by modern technology.
