In the hall on the first floor of the teaching building of the No. 1 High School Affiliated to East China Normal University, the robot dog was performing squatting, standing, flipping and other movements, which attracted students even to the corridors on the second and third floors to watch. On February 18, 2025, this rare scientific performance opened the prelude of the district-level museum linkage science popularization exhibition with the theme of "Pillars of a Great Power with Scientific Innovation as a Pilot," which also ushered in the official opening of the scientific exploration season series known as "Open Wings and Fly Towards Future" in Hongkou District.

The original exhibition of Shanghai Science & Technology Museum named "A Long Story of Lóng — Chinese Lóng in Pillars of a Great Power" was the key promotion project of the national theme exhibition for TOP 20 "Museums Where You May Know China" in 2024. The exhibition focused on sorting out the scientific and technological achievements named "Lóng" from ancient times to the present, covering 26 pieces of national key equipment in 8 categories in agriculture, construction, water conservancy, electric power, exploration, rescue, deep diving and military fields. This was the sixth stop of the exhibition tour, and it was also the first time that all the exhibits in the "Lóng · Science and Technology" section were displayed in primary and secondary school campuses. It is expected to be exhibited for half a year in the No. 1 High School Affiliated to East China Normal University, and then moved to other schools for tour exhibition.

Since the People's Government of Hongkou District signed a three-year strategic cooperation agreement with Shanghai Science & Technology Museum in May 2023, both parties have continued to build scientific education practice bases, knowledge bridges, practice platforms and growth ladders for teachers and students in Hongkou District through multiple channels. The on-campus display of these precious exhibits marks that this district-museum cooperation has opened an innovative path to supply high-quality scientific and educational resources and enhance Hongkou's profile.
