Announcement of the 2024 Shanghai Science and Technology Awards, “SAM Science Popularization Exhibition Project” Wins First Prize in the Science and Technology Popularization Category

On the morning of August 26, 2025, the 2024 Shanghai Science and Technology Awards Conference was held at the Shanghai Exhibition Center, where the results of the 2024 Shanghai Science and Technology Awards were announced. The “SAM Science Popularization Exhibition Project,” completed under the leadership of SSTM as the first undertaking institution, won the First Prize in the Science and Technology Popularization category. Xin Ge, Deputy Director of SSTM and Chief Commander of the SAM Project Construction, took the stage to receive the award on behalf of the winning team.

Since its completion and opening in July 2021, SAM has received more than 4 million visitors. It has been widely acclaimed by audiences and industry experts alike and has drawn consistent attention and coverage from major domestic and international media.
