Recently, the nature education course for science board game called Giant Panda National Park, developed by Shanghai Science & Technology Museum, was selected as the special course of the popular science gas station for the "Little Cao's Practitioner '3:30' Community Classroom" in Caojiadu Street. The board game was highlighted in the launching ceremony of the 20th Community Reading Festival and the release ceremony of the 4.23 World Book Day events for "Reading Caojiadu, Twenty Years of Bookish"

The nature education course called Giant Panda National Park is conducted in a "play-to-learn" exploration method, allowing children to experience the wonders of nature through play, while cultivating their sense of social responsibility for environmental protection. The course focuses on the broad concepts and core literacies within the curriculum and incorporates the latest scientific research to communicate ecological concepts such as habitats, populations, flagship species, and ecological corridors. Through the course, children can understand that the Giant Panda National Park does not only protect giant pandas, but also the integrity and stability of the ecosystem.

As an important participating brand of Community Reading Festival in Caojiadu Street, the nature education course called Giant Panda National Park has brought a popular science feast to the youth of Jing'an District, allowing them to deeply understand the value of the national park, pay attention to ecological protection, and contribute to the construction of a community with a shared future for the earth in a pleasant reading atmosphere.

At present, the museum is developing the second and third courses in the National Park of China series for Three-river-source National Park and National Park of Hainan Tropical Rainforest respectively, which will further enrich young people's science knowledge, expand their horizons, create more opportunities for them to practice and experience, and help the youth in the community to grow.
