Shanghai Natural History Museum’s Co-branded Cultural Creative Product Won the 2024 Shanghai Gift Brand “New Product of the Year”

On September 23, the 35th Shanghai Gift Design Contest, organized by the Shanghai Commercial Association and the Shanghai Tourism Trade Association, held a product launch event. A total of 421 items qualified for the 2024 "Shanghai Gift" brand certification. The collaborative gift set themed Mountains and Seas Habitat Art, developed by the Shanghai Natural History Museum and Shanghai Kaikai General Merchandise Co., Ltd., has received the "New Product of the Year" title at the 2024 "Lao Feng Xiang Cup" Shanghai Gift Design Contest.

This gift set features the artwork "Qing Geng Yu Yi (Pandemic Prevention by Qinggeng)" selected from 12 pieces displayed in "The Classic of Mountains and Seas" Habitat Art Restoration Exhibition. It creatively incorporates a design featuring Shanghai's unique intangible cultural heritage silk scarf buckle, while also utilizing traditional glass and mother-of-pearl inlay techniques. It will be showcased and sold alongside outstanding previous works at the offline stores and online malls of the Shanghai Gift selection.
