Shanghai Science & Technology Museum Won Multiple Awards at the National Competition of Science and Technology Museum Industry

From November 29 to December 1, 2024, the 7th National Science Experiment Exhibition and Performance, hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, was held in Hefei. During the event, 166 teams from all over the country presented a severe competition, where Shanghai Science & Technology Museum won four awards, including the first prize for the Three-Body Extra: Decoding Action presented by the Exhibition and Education Center of Shanghai Science & Technology Museum and Wide Application of Piezoelectric Materials presented by the Exhibition and Education Center of Shanghai Astronomy Museum, the second prize for Master of Balance presented by the Exhibition and Education Center of Shanghai Science & Technology Museum, and the third prize for Understanding Thrusters through Ionization Experiments presented by the Exhibition and Education Center of Shanghai Astronomy Museum.

At the finals of the 8th National Competition of Science Communicators held earlier, the team from Shanghai Science & Technology Museum also won several honors, including the first prize in the popular science short play category, the second and third prizes in the exhibit counseling category (science and technology museum counselor group), the second prize and the best creativity award in the scientific experiment category, and the second prize in the scientific course category.
