On July 27, 2025, the special event for “Global Tiger Day,” co-hosted by the Shanghai Natural History Museum (SNHM, a branch of the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, SSTM), Shanghai Disney Resort, and the Beijing Representative Office of the World Wide Fund for Nature (Switzerland), with support from China Welfare Institute Publishing House, successfully concluded at the SNHM. The event integrated the “National Park to Take Home” picture book series, and through science sharing, fun quizzes, and exhibition explorations, it created an immersive nature experience for children and families, promoting environmental awareness on the protection of wild animals and their habitats.

Tiger and leopard rangers shared their firsthand experiences to unveil stories from the frontlines of Amur tiger conservation, introduced knowledge about forest ecosystems, and guided participants in learning about the current survival status of the “King of Beasts.” The picture book author engaged in interactive Q&A and lecture sharing, revealing heartwarming stories about tigers behind the creation of the books. Following the lecture session, 15 families teamed up with rangers to form seven groups and entered the Ecological Kaleidoscope exhibition area at the SNHM. With task cards in hand, they searched for hidden ecological clues together, embarking on a journey to explore the world of tigers.
