SSTM and Macao Science Center Sign Cooperation Framework Agreement to Jointly Shape a New Landscape for Sci-Tech Innovation between Shanghai and Macao
The “2025 Pujiang Innovation Forum — Shanghai-Macao Science and Technology Innovation Dialogue,” jointly hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China and the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, took place at the Macao Science Center on August 7, 2025. During the event, the SSTM and the Macao Science Center signed a cooperation framework agreement. This marks the beginning of a new chapter in their collaboration, focusing on science popularization education and scientific and technological innovation.
The “Pujiang Innovation Forum” is a high-level exchange platform on scientific and technological innovation with international influence. At the event, Ni Minjing, Director of the SSTM, and Shao Hanbin, Director of the Macao Science Center, signed the cooperation framework agreement, witnessed by leaders from both regions. The agreement sets forth plans for the SSTM’s deep-sea themed exhibition to be presented at the Macao Science Center, as well as future cooperation in exhibition planning, science popularization education, scientific research collaboration, and personnel exchanges.
