Shanghai Science & Technology Museum Released a Science Popularization Micro Film — Our Hole-making Story

At the beginning of 2025, Shanghai Science & Technology Museum released a brand new science popularization micro film called Our Hole-making Story, which records the scientists' persistent pursuit of "making holes" under the microscope and exploring new scientific and technological fields on the nanometer scale.

Based on the real scientific research experiences of the team of Zhao Dongyuan, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Director of the Laboratory of Advanced Materials at Fudan University, this film integrates dramatic creative ideas to design three stories of characters that are both different and complementary. From "making holes" to "realizing dreams," their stories reflect the scientific research spirit of Chinese researchers who pursue truth, pragmatism, and progress.
