Exciting Activities at SSTM on the International Museum Day

The International Museum Day falls on May 18, 2018. This year’s theme is Hyperconnected Museums: New Approaches, New Publics. SSTM will stage various activities centering on this year’s theme.

As a first-class national museum, SSTM will stage various activities centering on this year’s theme and establish interactive platforms for communication between museum and the public. On May 18-19, SSTM and Shanghai Natural History Museum (“SNHM”) will discount tickets at half price. The SNHM will stage its “Dinosaur Season” branded event. The SSTM will launch foreign language versions of its official website in English, French, Japanese and Korean respectively. The two museums will also sign contracts with 17 popular science venues/museums and 10 travel agencies for establishing shared platforms and cross-over cooperation.
