[Notice] Online Sales for Admission Tickets to the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum to Open on February 11

1. Online sales for admission tickets to the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum will open at 10:00 on February 11, 2026. Tickets may be purchased via the official mini program of “Shanghai Science and Technology Museum · Shanghai Natural History Museum · Shanghai Astronomy Museum Tickets” and the official WeChat account of “Shanghai Science and Technology Museum.” The Museum operates a real-name, online reservation system with limited daily ticket availability. Visitors eligible for free-of-charge admission, including seniors aged 70 and above and children aged 6 and under, are also required to make online reservations.

2. Online sales for film and theater tickets of the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum will open at 10:30 on February 11, 2026. Visitors may purchase the tickets via the official mini program of “Shanghai Science and Technology Museum · Shanghai Natural History Museum · Shanghai Astronomy Museum Tickets” and the official WeChat account of “Shanghai Science and Technology Museum.” The tickets to the IWERKS 4D Theatre, the Tomorrow City (Theater), and the Wind Tunnel Experience Zone (Theater) in the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum are available only to visitors holding valid admission tickets. Film and theater tickets are issued on a one-person, one-ticket basis. No complimentary tickets are available for these programs.

3. To provide more visitors with the opportunity to attend during the Spring Festival holiday, ticket purchase limits will apply. Each account may purchase one admission order and two film/theater orders; each valid ID number may purchase one admission ticket and two film/theater tickets during the holiday period. The Chinese mainland visitors are required to use their resident ID card number when purchasing the admission ticket and present the original ID card for fast admission on the day of their visit. For film and theater screenings, tickets must be collected in advance from the self-service ticket machines inside the Museum. Entry to screenings requires a valid ticket. One ticket is for one person, including children.

4. During the trial operation period of the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, tickets for the Tomorrow City (Theatre) and Wind Tunnel Experience Zone (Theatre) will be offered at a 50% discount, priced at RMB 15 per person.
