The Temporary Exhibition of "Nature''s Patterns" Concluded with a Display of the Unique Aesthetic and Scientific Connotations of Different Patterns

On December 27, 2024, "Nature's Patterns," an art-and-nature-themed science exhibition, concluded successfully in the atrium of Shanghai Natural History Museum. The exhibition originated from the State Darwin Museum in Russia, with the focus on "Natural Beauty, Source of Fashion," which presented an in-depth demonstration of the unique charm and aesthetic connotation of pattern elements in nature.

The exhibition is an outstanding achievement of inter-museum exchanges between Shanghai Science & Technology Museum and the State Darwin Museum. Since its opening on November 9, it has received more than 100,000 visitors and held nearly 100 exhibition tours. Coinciding with the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia, each work in the exhibition contains the essence and charm of the cultures of the two countries, and also conveys to the world the cultural confidence, openness and inclusiveness of China and Russia.
