The Science New Year Conference Was Held to Explore the Infinite Possibilities of "Science "

On the evening of December 31, 2024, guided by the Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality and the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and hosted by Shanghai Science & Technology Museum and Tencent Foundation, the "Science Travel · Technological Innovation Principal Space Station" Science New Year Conference and Tencent Technology Night was held at Shanghai Natural History Museum. The event was broadcast on major platforms on the first evening of 2025, with an online audience of more than seven million.

At the main venue, speeches, dialogues, experiments and other wonderful programs were presented. The officially released "Plan for Opening One Square Meter Museum" introduced museum resources to communities and villages to benefit more citizens. In various sections of the museum, the audience was fully immersed in the museum night featuring fun strolling, entertaining and shopping. More than 120 people, including girls from remote villages, migrant children from cities and families of sick children, were invited to the museum to explore the world of science at a close range... This is the beginning of in-depth cooperation between Shanghai Science & Technology Museum and Tencent, as well as an exploration and prospect of the future of scientific and technological education and cross-border charity innovation.
