Since the opening of the “Roars from Across China · China’s Dinosaur Exhibition,” the event has drawn widespread attention from the public. To express gratitude for the audience’s support and enthusiasm, SNHM scheduled an additional “Crazy Dinosaur Week” night event every day during the final week of the 2025 summer vacation. A rich lineup of activities, including popular science lectures, scientific performances, themed films, and night markets, offered visitors a series of engaging experiences.

On the evening of August 26, the first “Crazy Dinosaur Week” night event was held as scheduled, providing the audience with an immersive experience to learn about dinosaurs and appreciate the beauty of science up close. Ni Minjing, Director of SSTM and Chief Curator of the China’s Dinosaur Exhibition, delivered a passionate introduction to significant fossil discoveries in the history of Chinese dinosaur research. The “Dinosaur Night Market” in the B2 atrium was bustling with excitement. Visitors could make their own adorable dinosaur felt refrigerator magnets and paper 3D dinosaurs, experience the ancient art of gold and silver embossing to recreate prehistoric creatures, and participate in the “Dinosaur Shadow Scroll” public art project, leaving behind shared memories with the museum.
