US President Obama Talks with Chinese Youth

United States President Barack Obama arrived at the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum to have a dialogue with more than 400 Chinese youths on November 16, 2009. Obama said that China, with a long history and profound culture,has been playing an important role in international affairs. Obama reviewed the development process of Sino-US relationship. He said that both China and the US are committed to developing a positive, cooperative and comprehensive relationship, which has opened the door to cooperation in solving major global issues, including economic recovery, clean energy development, climate change, nuclear non-proliferation, and the promotion of peace and stability in Asia and the world. Obama said that youngsters are the future of Sino-US relationship and hoped that they will strengthen mutual communication and exchanges.
