To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the Shanghai Astronomy Museum organized various activities, including flash concerts, science courses, and online events, to enrich the National Day holiday with a vibrant atmosphere of science popularization.

On October 5, a special National Day flash event of the Starry Sky Concert took place in the basement hall of the Shanghai Astronomy Museum. The program included a lineup of both domestic and international musical pieces, ranging from the well-known La Traviata to a classic animation song, the Big Fish, as well as the traditional Dialogue of Pipa, and culminated with the performed rendition of Starry Path which reflects the Dunhuang starry sky and the development of astronomy. The event concluded with a spectacular performance of I Love You, China, presented by dancers, musicians, and vocalists, elevating the festive atmosphere of the National Day celebrations to a peak.
