【Announcement】Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, Shanghai Natural History Museum and Shanghai Astronomy Museum to Remain Open During the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day Holidays

With the 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays approaching, and to better meet the public's demand for visits, the opening hours of our museums during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays are arranged as follows:

From September 25 (Friday) to September 27 (Sunday), and from October 1 (Thursday) to October 7 (Wednesday), the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, Shanghai Natural History Museum and Shanghai Astronomy Museum will be open to the public as usual. The specific arrangements are as follows:

September 25 (Friday) to September 26 (Saturday), and October 1 (Thursday) to October 3 (Saturday) will be days with extended opening hours. The Shanghai Science and Technology Museum and Shanghai Natural History Museum will be open from 9:00 to 20:00, while the Shanghai Astronomy Museum will be open from 9:30 to 20:00. CurioSci Hub on Level B1 of the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum will remain open until 22:00.

On September 27 (Sunday), and from October 4 (Sunday) to October 7 (Wednesday), the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum and Shanghai Natural History Museum will be open from 9:00 to 17:00, while the Shanghai Astronomy Museum will be open from 9:30 to 17:00. CurioSci Hub on Level B1 of the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum will remain open until 20:00 on September 27 (Sunday) and from October 4 (Sunday) to October 6 (Tuesday), and until 18:30 on October 7 (Wednesday).
