Our contestants won several awards in the Shanghai Science Popularization Tournament

On March 11, 2023, the final round of the 10th Shanghai Science Popularization Explanation Competition was held in WisdomBay. Since the competition was launched in December last year, more than 1,000 contestants applied for the competition, and after the fierce competition in the preliminary and final rounds, the final 40 outstanding contestants from all walks of life stood on the stage of the final round. Three contestants from Shanghai Science & Technology Museum won several awards in the final round. Wu Tianren and Wang Xingqi from the Exhibition and Education Center of Shanghai Science & Technology Museum and Song Ying from the Exhibition and Education Center of Shanghai Natural History Museum won the first prize in the Competition and were awarded the title of "Top Ten Science Popularization Messengers of Shanghai in 2023". Zhu Tianchen, from the Exhibition and Education Center of Shanghai Astronomy Museum and Wang Zijun, from the Exhibition and Education Center of Shanghai Natural History Museum, won the second prize; Liu Cong, from the Exhibition and Education Center of Shanghai Natural History Museum, won the third prize; Wu Xiaoxi, from the Exhibition and Education Center of Shanghai Astronomy Museum, and Xiao Nanyan and Song Yuxing, from the Exhibition and Education Center of Shanghai Natural History Museum, won the Excellence Award. 

On March 12, the 2023 Shanghai Science Experiment Exhibition and Performances were held in WisdomBay. In this year's competition, 26 groups of projects finally advanced, reflecting the new characteristics of cross-border integration from the participants to the scope of topics. The contestants popularized scientific knowledge and transmitted the scientific spirit with a rigorous scientific attitude and vivid performance methods in the plot of whimsical ideas. The contestants from Shanghai Science & Technology Museum won 5 awards. The works "Hyper Shield" and "The Way of A Missile" of the Exhibition and Education Center of Shanghai Astronomy Museum won the first prize with the first and the second highest scores in the whole field respectively. The works of the Exhibition and Education Center of Shanghai Science & Technology Museum, "Hardships of Nitrogen" and "The Adventures of Qi", and the works of the Exhibition and Education Center of Shanghai Natural History Museum, Who is My Eye, won the second prize.
