Nautilus Training Camp Organized by Shanghai Natural History Museum

During the winter vacation in 2025, Shanghai Natural History Museum organized a Nautilus Training Camp with the theme of "Colorful Nature and Diverse Mysteries," attracting more than 400 visitors from Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Shandong, Fujian, Guangdong, etc. to register. The camp lasted from January 21 to January 24, and was divided into a parent-child group and a research group successively. Some activities were livestreamed, for the purpose of further coverage of audience.

From butterflies in South America to zebras in Africa, from birds known as "architects" to beetles everywhere on earth, and from precious rocks and mines to rock painting workshops... this Nautilus Training Camp covered a wide range of activities for different topics. Through various forms such as nature exploration mobile classroom, exhibition area exploration and creative practice, the training camp fully stimulated children's curiosity and exploration desire, so that they could increase their natural science knowledge through fun activities.

As one of the series of theme activities launched by Shanghai Natural History Museum for teenagers during winter and summer vacations, the Nautilus Training Camp has received wide attention and unanimous praise from society. In 2024, the Nautilus Training Camp was rated as one of the first batch of "Top Ten Quality" science and education projects of Shanghai Science & Technology Museum. This year's winter vacation activities also won high satisfaction and appreciation from the audience, and People's Daily gave an interview and report on the activities.
