On August 17, 2024, the "Young Scientific Interpreter" Themed Micro-Exhibition "Solar Log" kicked off in the public space on the B1 floor of Shanghai Astronomy Museum. Through the solar log of 2024 jointly completed by 44 students, the Exhibition showcased the results of learning and exploration in the forms of posters, paintings, models and experiments, etc. The young authors, as scientific interpreters, also introduce their own stories of exploration to the public, and the exhibition will last until August 23.

The education and R&D team of Shanghai Astronomy Museum, together with experts from the School of Astronomy & Space Science of Nanjing University and the Shenzhen Observatory, has developed courses of theoretical knowledge, observation methods, and data analysis for teenagers according to the solar topics that they are most interested in. At the same time, the Museum's professional curators and interpreters taught students how to plan and design exhibitions, how to explain scientific knowledge and other display and interpretation skills. In the offline practical activities, the students observed the sun with telescopes and recorded sunspots through hand drawings.
