On June 10, 2023, 2023 Cultural and Natural Heritage Day Home City event was held. It was sponsored by the National Cultural Heritage Administration and the Office of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission and organized by the China Cultural Relics News. At its opening ceremony, a list of quality and excellent works recommended by the Chinese Cultural Relics Quality Works Disseminated Through New Media in 2023 was announced Our Museum's short video Science Experts · Secrets in the Library of Collections of A Natural History Museum was included into the list of excellent works recommended by the Chinese Cultural Relics Quality Works Disseminated Through New Media in 2023.

In August and September last year, the Shanghai Natural History Museum and the Office of Joint Conference for Shanghai Science Popularization, together with the "Science Has No Limits" Column Group, produced the Science Experts · Secrets in the Library of Collections of A Natural History Museum, a new media science short video, to lead the public to travel through the library of collections of our Museum and to introduce the stories about science behind our collections by relevant researchers and the craftsmanship and the making process of different types of collections by the professional specimen making team. The video spreads scientific knowledge in an easy-to-understand and funny form. It has innovated a way and created a good vibe for museums to popularize cultural relic science. It has made many collections hits and provided a typical case for promoting the all-media dissemination of cultural relics.
