"Science Travel · Technological Innovation Principal Space Station" Selected as the "Excellent Education Program of Shanghai Museums 2023"

Recently, in the main venue event of Shanghai's International Museum Day held at the World Expo Museum, "Science Travel · Technological Innovation Principal Space Station", a brand program of SSTM stood out from the city's 41 programs declared in the preliminary examination, and was selected as the "Excellent Education Program of Shanghai Museums 2023."

The Excellent Education Program of Shanghai Museums was appraised and selected by Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism. The aim was to deeply implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on the task of museums, promote the implementation of the Opinions on Using Museum Resources to Carry out Primary and Middle School Education and Teaching of the Ministry of Education and the National Cultural Heritage Administration, and give rise to a number of excellent education programs that embody the cultural characteristics, meet the diversified needs of the visitors, and keep pace with the times.

Since its launch in June 2023, the "Technological Innovation Principal Space Station" has focused on the technological innovation education for young people, aiming to give full play to the linking role of venues in terms of resources, subjects, platforms, etc. It strives to build an ecological network for technological innovation education through the all-around collaboration and interoperability of "museums-schools-institutes-enterprises-society." Moreover, it intends to provide high-quality resources and various expert perspectives for youth technological innovation education through popular science lectures, interdisciplinary dialogue, technological innovation fair, science and technology and culture integration courses and so forth.
