The Closing Ceremony of the Sixth Public Service Activity for the Collection of Universe Roaming Works Was Held

On August 3, 2024, the closing ceremony of the Sixth Public Service Activity for the Collection of Universe Roaming Works was held at the Shanghai Astronomy Museum. Since the official launch of the event on December 3, 2023, a total of 207 contestants from 44 units across the country have participated in the creation, 91 works have been collected, and 5 first-place works, 11 second-place works, 23 third-place works, 29 excellent works and 6 best works have been selected. All the entries will "take" the satellite to fly into space, realizing the "easy roaming in a charming universe".

The theme of this year's collection activity is "Fusion". With the development of astronomical research, multi-band, multi-messenger astronomy has helped scientists outline a more comprehensive and profound picture of the universe. The intersection and fusion of different types of data is like piecing together a grand puzzle, revealing a more complex view of the universe.
