Original Exhibition “Adorable Giant Panda” Debuts at the Darwin Museum in Russia, Expanding China-Russia Cultural Exchange

As an important initiative within the museum exchange and cooperation framework of the China-Russia Year of Culture, the original exhibition “Adorable Giant Panda” from the SSTM officially opened on July 30 at the Darwin Museum in Russia. The exhibition will run until October, presenting a feast of scientific value and cultural significance to the Russian public.

Organized by the SSTM and supported by the Shanghai Science Education Development Foundation, the “Adorable Giant Panda” exhibition has already successfully toured seven times across China. By systematically showcasing scientific knowledge about giant pandas and the daily practices of their conservation, the exhibition helps audiences gain a comprehensive understanding of giant pandas and builds an important platform for raising awareness of rare species protection. This presentation in Russia stands as a landmark achievement of deepened cooperation between the two museums, and will further promote in-depth exchanges between the two countries in rare species conservation, science communication, and museum education, contributing actively to the building of a community of life between humanity and nature.
