Nautilus Auditorium: A Lecture on Quantum Computing Transistors by Academician Ding Hong

On the afternoon of March 21, the 244th session of the Nautilus Auditorium was held at Shanghai Natural History Museum. Ding Hong, member of the CPPCC National Committee, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences and professor of Tsung-Dao Lee Institute, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, was invited to give a special lecture entitled Great Dream: Quantum Computing Transistor.

Ding Hong's lecture opened a door to cutting-edge science and technology for the audience, especially teenagers, giving them the opportunity to get to know quantum computing, a disruptive emerging technology, and understand the basic concept and working principle of quantum transistor as the core component of quantum computing. Besides, it stimulated teenagers' enthusiasm and interest in physics and computer science, and cultivated their innovative thinking in the field of science and technology.

As a public lecture on science communication sponsored by Shanghai Natural History Museum, the Nautilus Auditorium aims to promote the scientific spirit and popularize scientific knowledge to the public.
