A Special Event for National Day Was Held at Shanghai Science Communication Forum Held, Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China

On September 28, the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, in collaboration with various institutions such as Shanghai Advanced Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Fudan University's National Key Laboratory of Applied Surface Physics, and the MOE Key Laboratory of Micro-Nano Photonic Structures, and the Shanghai Science & Education Development Foundation, hosted a special National Day event of Shanghai Science Communication Forum titled "Exploring the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility and Unveiling the Microscopic World".

The event kicked off with the dance "China in Lights". Subsequently, Ni Minjing, Curator of the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, announced the Action Plan for Building a Model Innovation Museum for Xi Jinping Thought on Culture (2024-2027), celebrating the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. In the lecture segment, Zhao Zhentang, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Director of the Academic Committee of the Shanghai Advanced Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Director of the Science Center of Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility, shared significant research achievements about the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility, the first third-generation synchrotron radiation source on the mainland of China.
