“Science and Innovation Principal Space Station” Science Popularization Assistance Initiative for Qinghai Launched, Shanghai and Qinghai Join Hands to Build a New Bridge for Science Education

On September 13, 2025, the launch ceremony of the “Science and Innovation Principal Space Station” Artificial Intelligence Session and the Science Popularization Assistance Initiative for Qinghai was simultaneously held at SNHM and the Guoluo Prefecture Youth Extracurricular Activity Center. The initiative aims to provide young people in the Guoluo region with opportunities to engage with frontier science and to nurture within them the ideals and beliefs of “loving science and respecting science.”

At the launch ceremony, the first batch of “Science Popularization Resource Packages” was presented to Guoluo Prefecture, including science popularization videos, documentaries, and online educational course materials. These resources will directly benefit many primary and secondary schools in Guoluo Prefecture. Centered on the theme of “Artificial Intelligence,” the event specially invited Professor Ma Lizhuang, Distinguished Professor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and East China Normal University and Deputy Dean of the Artificial Intelligence Institute of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, as well as Professor Zhou Dongzhuo, Distinguished Professor of the Institute of Natural Sciences and School of Mathematical Sciences at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Deputy Dean of Zhiyuan College, to deliver two engaging popular science lectures.
