On August 22, the Chinese Chemical Society's "Chemistry Is Everywhere" themed science communication event and the 246th Shanghai Science Communication Forum were successfully held at SSTM. The event brought together more than 300 high school students and teachers from 14 secondary schools in Shanghai.

The keynote speaker delivered a presentation titled "Writing DNA" to the students and teachers in attendance. The presentation systematically reviewed the discovery of DNA, the history of DNA research, and the core mechanisms of genetic material replication, while providing a detailed explanation of how DNA coding technology can be integrated with information technology. During the interactive question-and-answer session, students actively raised questions and explored the future frontiers of chemistry with the expert. In-depth discussions focused on cutting-edge topics and practical issues, including "the key challenges of translating chemical laboratory research findings into industrial chemical production" and "the social and ethical issues arising from advances in DNA technology." The session featured lively exchanges and frequent applause, offering the participating students and teachers a science communication experience that was both professionally informative and intellectually stimulating.
