Shanghai Astronomy Museum Held Special Events for Its Third Anniversary and Summer Carnival

On July 18, 2024, the Shanghai Astronomy Museum celebrated its third anniversary. On the same day, 20 lucky visitors who shared the same birthday with the Shanghai Astronomy Museum were invited to celebrate their birthdays with the Museum, and a number of special events were carried out in the Museum to celebrate its summer carnival. These events include astronomical cross-talk, theme guide, exhibition hall exploration, and special demonstrations of the Astronomical Phenomena Hall, creating a unique popular science experience for the visitors.

Along with the children's solo Big Dreams for Little Kids, the "3rd Anniversary Birthday Party -- Across 3 Seas and Set Sail for Dreams" kicked off. The "Starry Sky Concert" brought a number of musical performances to the visitors. The astronomical knowledge quiz of the "Galaxy Competition" helped the young visitors gain a wealth of new astronomical knowledge. And in the "Astronomy and Love" session, Shi Wei, Director of the Network Popular Science Department, took his personal experience of chasing astronomical dreams as a blueprint to encourage children to write their future dreams bravely.
