The Activity of "Training on Improving the Practical Ability of Science Education for Primary and Secondary School Teachers through Museum-School Cooperation" Was Held

From July 23 to July 27, 2024, the 2024 Science Teacher Training of the Modern Science and Technology Museum System Joint Action and the "Training on Improving the Practical Ability of Science Education for Primary and Secondary School Teachers through Museum-School Cooperation" was held and participated by 100 primary and secondary school science teachers from Zhejiang, Fujian and Shanghai and counselors from the Shanghai Science & Technology Museum.

As an important part of the 2024 Science Quality Improvement Training for Primary and Secondary School Teachers, this training focused on "scientific practice based on popular science resources of the Shanghai Science & Technology Museum", aiming to enhance teachers' teaching and application ability and scientific practice skills of museum resources, and promote the science education cooperation between schools and the Museum. Through lectures, hands-on workshops and learning visits, trainees learned about the integration and output of educational resources and the innovation and promotion of branded educational programs under the "three-in-one" cluster development of the Shanghai Science & Technology Museum, and jointly thought about and explored new paths and modes of collaborative science education under the museum-school cooperation.
